How to do a Montenegrin stitchЯк вишивати чорногорський шов
A long-armed cross with one upright driven through the middle of its long leg. One operation of difference — and the band reads visibly more braided, while the back runs as crosses separated by uprights. Work it in 3 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.

- The long leg runs from the bottom-left corner diagonally over two cells to the top-right, exactly as in long-armed cross.Довга нога — з нижнього лівого кута по діагоналі через дві клітинки у верхній правий, як у довгорукому хрестику.
- The short leg returns from the middle of the bottom edge back to the top-left corner, over the long one.Коротка нога вертається з середини низу назад у лівий верхній кут, поверх довгої.
- And here is the difference: an upright from that same hole, straight up through the middle of the long leg.
