PC Stitch or Crosstela?PC Stitch чи Crosstela?
They do different jobs. PC Stitch is a program for designing charts; its product page lists Windows 7 and higher and does not mention a Mac or an iPad. Crosstela is a free app for stitching from a chart on iPhone, iPad and a Mac with Apple silicon, and it opens the .pat files PC Stitch saves. PCStitch 11 is the version on sale. The release list on its site ends at 11.00.15, released 25 September 2018, and its product page carries a 2016 copyright line. The page still sells it, at $49.95. We found no statement from M&R Technologies about a later version (read on 30 October 2026).

Moving over from PC StitchЯк перейти з PC Stitch
Save your .pat files to Files, then in Crosstela tap + on the shelf, then Choose a file…, and pick one. Crosstela opens PC Stitch .pat files of versions 5 to 11. A version it can’t read is named on the card instead of opening wrong.
If it can’t read yours: in PC Stitch use the Import/Export tool to save the chart as version 7, which opens (this may not work for charts built from PC Stitch’s own bundled motifs). Or print the chart to PDF with the free PC Stitch Pattern Viewer and open that PDF. Details: Switching from another app and PAT files.
