• Number. Buy by the full number the maker prints on the packet; the same last digits in two lines are not the same colour. Tap a number to see the closest shades in other brands.
• Swatches. A swatch is the colour on a screen. It cannot show glass, shine, coating or lining, so it is a guide to the shade, not to the bead.
• Sort and filter. Sort by number or by colour; filter by colour family (worked out from the colour itself) or by line.

• Compare against the real packet before you buy for a pattern: screen colour is not the bead.
• Looking for the same shade in another brand, or the thread to match a bead? Use the closest colour finder.
