- Swatches. Colours are on-screen approximations: a monitor cannot show a thread’s sheen, and two screens never agree exactly.
- Nearest DMC. The grey “≈ DMC” number is the current DMC stranded cotton closest in colour on screen, by the same comparison Crosstela uses. It is a starting point; it is not a conversion table.
- Sort and filter. Sort by number, or by colour to line shades up the way a colour card does. The colour families are worked out from the colour itself, so they read the same in every brand’s chart.
