When we looked on 30 October 2026, hobbyware.com showed a notice that the domain has expired, and Ursa Software’s help says PatternMaker has ceased trading. We found no live page of its maker selling it. They carry a Product Life Notice: no further major enhancements are planned, only limited maintenance releases may be considered, and version 4 is the latest major release. Its last archived price page shows Standard at $60 and Professional at $120. On 30 October 2026, hobbyware.com showed that the domain has expired. Ursa Software’s help says PatternMaker has ceased trading and adds that working copies will gradually disappear.

Save the .xsd file to Files, then in Crosstela tap + on the shelf, then Choose a file…, and pick it. The same extension is also used for XML schema files, which have nothing to do with stitching. If a file can’t be read, the card says so and gives the way out: in Pattern Maker, File ▸ Export and pick PDF or OXS. See Switching from another app and XSD files.
