Herringbone with a small upright stitch in a second thread over every crossing, pinning the crossing to the cloth. Work it in 11 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.

- Work a row of ordinary herringbone.Вишийте ряд звичайної ялинки.
- With a second thread, come up just below the first crossing and go down just above it: one small tie over the two threads.Другою ниткою виведіть голку трохи нижче першого перехрестя й уведіть трохи вище нього: один маленький стібок через обидві нитки.
- Come up at the next crossing, on the other edge of the band, and tie that one the same way. Go along the row like this, from top to bottom and back, until every crossing is held.Виведіть голку біля наступного перехрестя, на другому краю смуги, і прикріпіть його так само.
