How to do a perspective stitchЯк вишивати перспективу
Three parallel diagonals over two cells, and three of the opposite slant against them: a chevron. The two slants traditionally take two colours and the field reads as boxes seen in depth; in one colour the illusion collapses. Work it in 6 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.
Три паралельні діагоналі через дві клітинки, а проти них — три з протилежним нахилом: виходить шеврон. Нахили традиційно беруть двома кольорами, і поле читається як коробки, поставлені в глибину; одним кольором ілюзія зникає. - Three diagonals over two cells, one below the next — half the chevron.Три діагоналі через дві клітинки, одна під одною — це половина шеврона.
- The second three lean the other way and rest against the first. Along the row the slant alternates block by block.Друга трійка нахилена навпаки й спирається на першу. Далі вздовж ряду нахил чергується блок за блоком.
Done. This is the unit, not the whole field: to make the boxes read as solid, the two slants take two colours and the orientation alternates from row to row as well.

Tips and common mistakesПоради й типові помилки
- Count the holes: every pass starts and ends in an exact hole, and one hole off shows.Рахуйте дірочки: кожен стібок починається й закінчується в точній дірочці, і помилку на одну дірочку видно.
