A line with a small knot in it every so often, each knot made on a slanting bite that gives the line a slight wave. Work it in 4 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.

- Work from left to right. Come up at the left end of the line and lay the thread ahead in a loop, the working thread crossing on top. Inside the loop, enter just above the line and come out just below it, a little behind where you went in. Snug the thread round the needle and pull through: the loop closes into a knot sitting on the line.Працюйте зліва направо. - Lay the thread forward again and make the next one the same way, the knots at even spaces.
