Step by stepКрок за кроком

  1. Thread the ribbon on a long needle and knot its far end. Bring it up from the back at the centre of the rose. Run the needle along the ribbon in small running stitches and slide the ribbon down onto itself until it ruffles.Заведіть стрічку в довгу голку й зав’яжіть вузлик на дальньому кінці. Виведіть її з вивороту в центрі троянди. Проведіть голку вздовж стрічки маленькими стібками «уперед голку» й зсуньте стрічку саму на себе, поки вона не збереться брижами.
  2. Coil the gathers round the centre, a little at a time.Обвивайте збірки навколо центра, потроху.
  3. Tack it down with tiny stitches in a matching sewing thread, hidden under the folds. Finish the tail by taking it to the back, and oversew it there.Прихопіть її крихітними стібками швейної нитки в тон, сховавши їх під складками. Кінець заведіть на виворіт і пришийте там.

Tips and common mistakesПоради й типові помилки

  • Gathers that are too tight to fan out: the rose looks like a tight knot. Pull up only as far as you need.Занадто тугі збірки, що не розходяться: троянда виглядає як тугий вузол. Стягуйте лише настільки, скільки потрібно.
