Fixing small mirrors, coins or other flat objects to cloth, before a decorative ring of stitches is worked over the frame.

1. The pale circle is the mirror. Hold it in place (a dab of glue helps, and two tiny stitches beneath it fasten the thread on). Come up at its lower left edge and make one stitch straight across, pulled taut, to the far edge.Світле коло — це дзеркальце. Tips and common mistakesПоради й типові помилки

• Leaving the bars slack: the mirror works loose as soon as the ring is added. Pull them firmly from the start.Слабкі планки: дзеркальце розхитується, щойно додасться кільце. Тягніть їх туго від самого початку.
• Placing the bars too close to the middle: the frame covers the mirror, and the ring hides more of it again. Keep them near the edge.Планки надто близько до середини: рамка закриває дзеркальце, а кільце ховає його ще більше. Тримайте їх ближче до краю.
