How to do a blackwork zigzag rowЯк вишивати зиґзаґ-рядок
The simplest blackwork fill: a /\ row in double running — odd stitches on the way out, even ones on the way back. Work it in 4 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.

- The outward journey of double running: a diagonal up over one cell, a gap of one, then the next diagonal up — every other stitch of the row.Прямий хід подвійного прямого шва: діагональ угору через одну клітинку, пропуск, потім наступна діагональ угору — кожен другий стібок рядка.
- The return journey fills the gaps with the diagonals down, into the same holes, and the zigzag becomes solid — the same line on both sides of the cloth.Зворотний хід заповнює пропуски діагоналями вниз у ті самі дірочки, і зиґзаґ стає суцільним — та сама лінія з обох боків тканини.
Done. The tile repeats along the row, and the rows stack one beneath another.
